About ME

Welcome to Skin Revival! I’m Maria, a licensed esthetician with a passion for skin health. As a proud Gonzaga grad, I initially took the plunge into the corporate world right after college. I was great at coordinating projects but deep down, I felt like I was just moving paper around instead of making a real impact. So, I decided to ditch the cubicle and pursue my lifelong dream of becoming an esthetician!

Since childhood, I’ve been fascinated by all things skin-related—even to the point of chasing my poor brother around with the hopes of extracting blackheads from his nose! But it wasn’t until my early adulthood that I truly experienced the struggle of skin challenges myself. I developed cystic acne due to undiagnosed PCOS and Celiac disease, and I found myself embarrassed to go to work, feeling insecure as the only adult in the office with acne. It was a tough reminder of those awkward teenage years, and that’s when I really connected with the pain that so many people experience regarding skin health.

It was during my time in esthetician school that I finally gained the knowledge I needed about skin health and how to tackle various concerns. Although I still encounter the occasional cystic acne flare-up, I’ve discovered a skincare routine that works wonders for me! I firmly believe that understanding your skin and what it needs is the key to glowing confidence—yet somehow, it’s a topic most people know surprisingly little about.

At Skin Revival, my mission is to help you find joy and confidence in your skin—whether it’s through waxing, lash services, or anti-wrinkle treatments.
